Evan and Lauren have owned and managed Trinity Cider since its opening in 2018, but have dreamed about it and planned for it for much longer.
Evan grew up making hard apple cider in Washington State with his father. They would pick apples from their yard, grind, press and ferment them for as long as two years to make tasty, unsweet hard apple cider. When Evan got to Dallas in 2015, he realized two things :
1. There wasn’t a lot of great hard cider being made in Texas.
2. Lauren was the most wonderful girl he’d ever met.
Since Lauren seemed to like Evan too, they started planning out a hard cider company in Deep Ellum where they live. On October 12th, 2018, they opened the doors to Trinity Cider and later that night got engaged.
They are now married, live with their dog Alfie, and you can often find all three of them at the cidery smiling and chatting with guests, cider in hand. Say hi if you see them!
